Governance

The Governance module manages organizational compliance, board documentation, and annual general meeting (AGM) records. It provides a structured place for bylaws, policies, compliance checklists, and resolutions.

Governance Documents

Store and manage official organizational documents:

  1. Navigate to Governance → Documents
  2. Upload bylaws, policies, charters, and other governing documents
  3. Track versions — each update creates a new version while preserving history
  4. Set access levels — board only, committee members, or all members

Compliance Checklists

Create and track compliance requirements:

  1. Click New Checklist
  2. Add checklist items with descriptions and due dates
  3. Assign responsible parties
  4. Track completion status across the organization

Use checklists for regulatory compliance, annual filing requirements, insurance renewals, or internal policy reviews.

AGM Records

Document annual general meetings:

Resolutions

Track formal resolutions passed by the board or membership:

  1. Navigate to Governance → Resolutions
  2. Click New Resolution
  3. Enter the resolution text, proposer, seconder, and vote count
  4. Record the outcome — passed, failed, or tabled
  5. Link to the meeting where it was voted on
ℹ️Governance documents and AGM records are especially important for HOA engines (board meeting requirements) and Association engines (annual meeting compliance). All engine types have access to this module.
