Chamber Module

The Chamber module adds business networking and economic development tools to AMS for chambers of commerce. It is only available when the organization's engine is set to Chamber.

Business Directory

Maintain a searchable directory of member businesses:

  1. Navigate to Chamber → Directory to view all business listings
  2. Click New Listing to add a business
  3. Enter business name, category, description, address, phone, website, and logo
  4. Link the listing to the member (business owner) profile
  5. Published listings appear on your AMS website's public directory

Business members manage their own listing through the member portal.

Hot Deals

Let members promote special offers to fellow members and the community:

  1. Navigate to Chamber → Hot Deals
  2. Members submit deals through the portal or staff creates them
  3. Each deal includes title, description, discount details, and expiration date
  4. Active deals display on your website and in the member portal

Referrals

Track business referrals between members:

  1. Navigate to Chamber → Referrals
  2. Create a referral — who referred, who was referred, and the opportunity
  3. Track referral outcomes (converted, pending, closed)
  4. Generate referral reports to demonstrate chamber value to members

Ambassadors

Manage your ambassador program — experienced members who welcome and onboard new businesses:

  1. Navigate to Chamber → Ambassadors
  2. Assign members as ambassadors
  3. Track ambassador activities — welcome visits, ribbon cuttings, mentoring sessions
  4. Recognize top ambassadors with reports and digital badges

Sponsorships

Manage event and program sponsorships:

ℹ️The Chamber module replaces generic membership terminology with business-focused language. "Members" become "Businesses," "Events" become "Mixers," and "Dues" become "Membership Fees."
