Courses and Certifications

MSP Collective includes a full learning management system (LMS) where vendors publish courses and practitioners earn certificates and CPE credits.

Browsing Courses

Click Courses in the navigation to browse available content. Filter by:

  • Category — Product training, certification, best practices, technical, sales enablement, onboarding, webinar recording, or general
  • Skill level — Beginner, intermediate, or advanced
  • Price — Free or paid
  • Visibility — Some courses are public, others are Hub members only

Each course card shows the title, vendor, duration estimate, skill level, rating, and CPE credits offered.

Enrolling in a Course

  1. Click on a course to view its details
  2. Review the module outline, estimated time, and requirements
  3. Click Enroll
    • Free courses enroll instantly
    • Paid courses go through the checkout process
  4. The course appears in your My Courses dashboard

Course Structure

Courses are organized into:

  • Modules — Top-level sections that can be reordered
  • Lessons — Individual content items within a module (video, text, or mixed)
  • Quizzes — Knowledge checks at the end of modules or the course

Quiz question types include multiple choice, multi-select, true/false, and fill-in-the-blank. Each quiz has a configurable pass threshold.

Completing a Course

  1. Work through each module's lessons at your own pace
  2. Mark lessons as complete when finished — the system also tracks time spent
  3. Pass all required quizzes (score at or above the pass threshold)
  4. Your certificate is automatically generated

Certificates include a SHA-256 hash for verification and can be validated publicly at the certificate verification page.

Downloading and Sharing Certificates

Once you complete a course:

  1. Go to My Courses → Completed
  2. Click View Certificate
  3. Download as PDF or share the public verification link

Anyone with the verification link can confirm the certificate is authentic.

CPE Credits

Many courses award CPE (Continuing Professional Education) credits. The number of credits is shown on the course card before enrollment. See CPE Credits for how to track and submit your credits.

Vendor-Created Courses

Vendors can create courses for their products:

  1. Go to Vendor Dashboard → Courses
  2. Click Create Course
  3. Set up the course details: title, description, category, skill level, visibility, and price
  4. Add modules, lessons, and quizzes
  5. Submit for review

Course Analytics

Vendors see analytics for their published courses:

  • Enrollment count — Total students enrolled
  • Completion rate — Percentage who finished the course
  • Quiz pass rate — Percentage passing the final quiz
  • Average score — Mean quiz score across all attempts
  • Course rating — Average student rating

Growth and Enterprise Hub tiers get access to the full analytics dashboard.

Partner Certifications

Beyond course certificates, vendors can offer formal partner certifications at three levels:

  • Authorized — Completed basic training
  • Certified — Passed advanced coursework and assessment
  • Premier — Highest achievement level, often requiring field experience

Certifications can sync from Hub entitlements or be manually assigned by admins. They appear on your vendor profile and practitioner profile.
