Mission Member Prayer Wall
The Prayer Wall allows members to share prayer requests with the community and pray for one another. Access it from the Mission Portal sidebar under Prayer.
Viewing Prayer Requests
The page shows a list of prayer requests submitted by your community. Each request card displays:
- Name — the person requesting prayer (or "Anonymous" if they chose to post anonymously)
- Category badge — color-coded by type: Health, Financial, Family, Spiritual, or Other
- "Answered" badge — shown in green if the organization has marked the request as answered
- Date submitted
- The prayer request text
- A Praying (N) button showing how many people have prayed for this request
Praying for a Request
Click the Praying button on any request to log your prayer. The prayer count increments immediately. You can pray for as many requests as you like.
Submitting a Prayer Request
- Click the Submit Request button in the top-right
- A form appears below the header
- Fill in:
- Your Name — required
- Prayer Request — describe what you need prayer for (required)
- Category — Health, Financial, Family, Spiritual, or Other
- Post anonymously — check this box to show "Anonymous" instead of your name
- Click Submit
- Your request appears in the prayer list for the community to see
Privacy Options
| Option | What Happens |

| Post with your name | Your name appears on the request card |
| Post anonymously | Your name is stored privately but "Anonymous" is shown publicly |

All submissions are currently public to logged-in portal members. If you need a private/staff-only prayer request, contact your pastoral care team directly.
Answered Prayers
When your organization marks a prayer request as answered, it receives a green "Answered" badge. This is managed by organization staff, not by members.
