Reports
CMDB provides built-in reports for asset inventory analysis, documentation coverage, warranty tracking, and staleness detection.
Inventory Report
Navigate to Reports → Inventory to see CI counts grouped by:
- Type — how many servers, workstations, network devices, etc.
- Status — breakdown by active, inactive, maintenance, decommissioned, planned
- Criticality — distribution across critical, high, medium, low
Use this report for:
- Client quarterly business reviews
- Capacity planning
- Understanding the composition of a client's environment
Coverage Report
The coverage report identifies documentation gaps:
- Coverage percentage — what fraction of CIs have linked documents
- Undocumented CIs — list of CIs with no associated documentation
- Gap analysis — prioritize documentation effort by criticality
Aim for 100% documentation coverage on critical and high-criticality CIs. Undocumented critical infrastructure is a risk during incident response — technicians waste time investigating instead of following a runbook.
Warranty Report
Track warranty status across your entire client base:

| Expired | Warranty end date has passed |
| Expiring Soon | Warranty expires within the next 90 days |
| Healthy | More than 90 days of warranty remaining |
Filter by company to generate per-client warranty reports. Use this during business reviews to recommend hardware refresh cycles and budget for replacements.
Staleness Report
Identifies documentation that may be outdated:
- Lists all documents not updated in 180+ days
- Helps enforce documentation review policies
- Flags documents that should be reviewed, updated, or archived
Dashboard Summary
The CMDB dashboard provides at-a-glance metrics:
